Melati is ethically made in Bali, Indonesia, in a small atelier in Tabanan. Our atelier is founded and led by women, with an all-women team.

Each Melati piece is made to be worn, loved, and cherished for years. With a little care, your swimwear will retain its shape, colour, and softness for longer.

We recommend rinsing your piece in cool, fresh water after each swim, particularly after exposure to salt water, chlorine, sunscreen, or oils. Hand wash gently in cold water with a mild detergent when needed.

Allow your piece to air dry naturally in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight and tumble drying, as excessive heat and prolonged sun exposure can affect the colour and fibres of the fabric.

Before storing, make sure your swimwear is completely dry and free from salt, chlorine, and any product residue. Fold your pieces neatly and store them in a cool, dry place rather than hanging them.

To help preserve the fabric, avoid prolonged contact with rough or textured surfaces such as rocks, pool edges, and coarse materials, which may cause pulls or pilling.
