Can I change or cancel my order?

If your order hasn't been packed yet, we'll do our best to help. Please email us as soon as possible at melatiswim@gmail.com with your order number.

Once an order has been shipped, we're unable to make any changes.

I haven't received my order confirmation.

Order confirmations are sent automatically after your purchase. If you can't find it, please check your spam or promotions folder. Still nothing? Get in touch and we'll happily help.

Sizing & Fit

How do I choose my size?

Every body is different, so we recommend referring to our Size Guide before placing your order.

If you're between sizes or would like personalised sizing advice, we'd love to help. Simply email us at melatiswim@gmail.com.

Do your styles run true to size?

Yes. Our swimwear is designed to fit true to size.

Some styles are designed for a more sculpted fit, while others offer a little more flexibility. You'll find fit notes on each product page to help you choose the right size.

Can I mix and match bikini sizes?

Absolutely. Bikini tops and bottoms are sold separately, so you can choose the size that fits you best.

Can I wear Melati for surfing?

Yes, you can wear them for surfing, but our pieces are not made specifically for surfwear.

They provide support and comfort, but they are not meant for regular or intense surfing. For bigger waves and longer sessions, you usually need gear with stronger compression, reinforced seams, and more secure closures.

For light surfing or occasional use, our pieces work well. For more challenging conditions, we suggest choosing dedicated surfwear.

Product Care

How should I care for my swimwear?

To help your Melati pieces last season after season:

  • Rinse with fresh cold water after every wear.
  • Hand wash with a gentle detergent.
  • Dry flat in the shade.
  • Avoid bleach, tumble dryers, and ironing.
  • Avoid rough surfaces that may snag the fabric.

Treat your swimwear with care, and it'll love you back.

Can I wear my swimwear in pools?

Yes. Our swimwear can be worn in both the ocean and swimming pools.

Please note that prolonged exposure to chlorine, hot tubs, and sunscreen oils may gradually affect the colour and elasticity of the fabric over time.

Shipping

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide from Indonesia.

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout.

Will I need to pay customs duties or import taxes?

Depending on your country, customs duties or import taxes may apply.

These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the customer.

Returns & Exchanges

Can I return my order?

We hope you love your Melati pieces. If something isn't quite right, eligible full-priced items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they're unworn, unwashed, and returned with all original tags and hygiene liners intact.

Please note that sale items and gift cards are final sale.

Can I exchange for another size?

Of course.

If your preferred size is available, we're happy to arrange an exchange. Please contact us before sending your item back.

Materials

What are your swimsuits made from?

We use VITA by Carvico, an ultra-soft premium Italian fabric chosen for its luxurious feel, beautiful shape retention, and durability.

With four-way stretch, UPF 50+ protection, and resistance to chlorine, sunscreen, and pilling, it's designed to feel as good as it looks, from slow beach days to long swims in the ocean.

Will the fabric become see-through when wet?

No. All Melati swimwear is double-lined to provide comfort, coverage, and confidence in and out of the water.

Gift Cards

Do your gift cards expire?

No. Melati gift cards never expire and can be redeemed online at any time.
